I'M ON RAVELRY AS OF TODAY WOO!
FO! Christmas socks for dad.
So they look a little silly on my feet, but they'll fit him, I promise. The pattern is a modified version of "Mother's day cotton slippers" by SockPixie. The only big change is that instead of a latticework on the toe, I did a stripe instead which I think was all it needed to be a more masculine design. They're very soft and quite comfortable. I hope he likes them!

SPECS:
Pattern: Mother's Day Cotton Slippers (modified for men's size)
Source: SockPixie (free pattern)
Pattern URL: http://sockpixie.blogspot.com/2007/04/mothers-day-cotton-slippers-free.html
For: my dad
Yarn: 2 skeins of Mission Falls 1824 (1 of each colour)
Needles: US9 (5.5mm)
Timeline: started 11.20.2007; finished 11.25.2007
I loved knitting these, and I need to make another pair, but I think I'll knit something else in between to give myself a break. Until next time, keep knitting!
